Between the Made and Digital- Using Scanning and Software to Unlock a New Creative Boundary
This 2 day intensive is designed to illustrate to participants the broad array of possibilities offered through 3D scanning, printing, and computer manipulation of their sculptures. Participants are required to bring in a small sculpture for scanning, as the subject of further study. This art work will be scanned, 3D printed, digitally altered and manipulated, and then output to a 3D Printer once more. Process Art Studio's owner, Andrew Woodard will then assist participants in developing a network of possible printing, enlarging, and casting forums to help participants find new avenues to producing their work.
Consecutive Saturdays: 2/16 & 2/23,
12 noon to 6pm each day
